Agustín Formoso works as a software engineer at LACNIC, the Regional Internet Registry for Latin America and the Caribbean. He is part of the team responsible for the development and maintenance of the Simon Project, which measures Internet connectivity between LAC region countries through latency measurements. Other projects of interest include the RDAP protocol implementation, the successor to the former whois protocol.
